Rai Yoyo and DeAKids have both acquired 100 episodes of the series, bringing the total number of countries that Waybuloo airs in to 79 worldwide.

In addition to Italy, the series has also been acquired by broadcasters in Ireland (RTE), Australia (ABC), New Zealand (TV NZ), Canada (Treehouse TV), Finland (YLE), Portugal (RTP), Middle East (Al Jazeera’s Children Channel) and the CBeebies channel in Poland, Africa, Asia and India.

Nigel Pickard, group director, family entertainment and drama at RDF said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be able to report these recent deals and the continued success of Waybuloo after just one year in the international market.

"The series has really exceeded all our expectations in such a short period of time and we look forward to seeing the property continue to grow internationally.”

Waybuloo is produced by The Foundation, part of the RDF Media Group, and Decode Entertainment for CBeebies.
