VEGAS 2011: Licensing Works picks up Hearts for Hearts Girls

Playmates Toys' brand to be expanded into publishing, apparel and interactive among other areas.

Licensing Works has been appointed as the global agent for the Hearts for Hearts Girls brand from Playmates Toys.

The charitable doll line and fashion collection features six dolls from around the world. Through a partnership with World Vision, a portion of each doll sale is donated to a non-profit organisation that helps children from that doll's country.

Licensing Works' initial programme will focus on the publishing, interactive, apparel, accessories and home décor categories.

"By extending Hearts for Hearts Girls into select categories, we strive to increase brand awareness and spread the message, 'Changing the World One Heart at a Time', while at the same time enriching girls' experience and helping them find their own ways to make a difference," said Leslie Levine from Licensing Works.
