Online games platform Miniclip is kicking off a global brand extension strategy - beginning with its appearance at Licensing International this week.
The firm will look to leverage first party game title characters and related IP for licensing and promotional efforts. These will include hit online and mobile games such as Hambo, Gravity Guy and Extreme Skater.
Miniclip is represented by Dimensional Branding Group.
"Miniclip has an active, engaged and growing user base all across the globe that is familiar with our brand name and many of our great game titles, whether online or on mobile," said Chris Bergstresser, VP and commercial director at Miniclip. "It's an opportunity that's ripe for a thoughtful brand extension strategy. Licensing Show will be our big debut and we're looking forward to using the show as the springboard for our brand to access new outlets for distribution in 2012 and beyond."
