Viacom has made a host of announcements around Licensing Expo 2013 in Las Vegas this week.
Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products (NVCP) is continuing to unveil new lines for two of Nickelodeon’s hottest new properties, animated action favourite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and pre-school series Bubble Guppies (pictured), with deals signed in Russia and the UK.
Fisher-Price has launched its new Bubble Guppies toy range featuring characters, vehicles and play sets, role play toys and plush. Read more here.
The NVCP adult licensing business continues to expand with a raft of new deals in Australia, Northern and Southern Europe, Latin America and South Africa, spanning multiple categories for popular adult properties, including MTV Classic, Comedy Central’s South Park as well as Nickelodeon’s pop culture iconSpongeBob SquarePants. Nickelodeon has also announced a partnership with Life Like Touring to develop and launch a new production of Dora Live! Dora’s Pirate Adventure in Australia this September. Read more here.
And finally, Nickelodeon has announced a new partnership with LiteracyPlanet, the Australian education software maker. It will create a marketing and creative campaign designed to launch LiteracyPlanet’s direct-to-consumer e-learning products across Nickelodeon platforms in the UK and Australia. Read more here.
