DreamWorks Animation has begun to build the licensing programme for the new-look Noddy, Toyland Detective, confirming Spin Master as the master toy partner.
Alongside the new TV series, Spin Master will launch a wide range of toys including figures, play-sets, vehicles, games and more in autumn 2016.
Commissioned by France Television, Noddy, Toyland Detective is produced by Gaumont Animation in association with DreamWorks Animation Television. It is slated to premiere on France 5 in spring 2016. Gaumont will distribute the series in France and French-speaking Europe.
Jonathan Baker, head of international consumer products at DreamWorks Animation, said: "Spin Master is the perfect partner for our reintroduction of Noddy.
"Noddy has a rich legacy around the world, and we know a whole new generation of children will be excited to join the new Noddy on his many adventures on screen and off."
Adam Beder, EVP of global licensing at Spin Master, added: "It goes without saying that we can't wait to introduce a new generation to the adventure and wonder that Noddy can bring to play time."
