VeggieTales eyes up new lines

Big Idea teaming with Eyes of Faith for children's eyewear line.

Eyewear specialist Eyes of Faith is to design a new line of VeggieTales children's eyewear following a deal with Big Idea Entertainment.

VeggieTales has sold over 53 million videos, 13 million books and over seven million CDs. It also has a solid licensing programme and live entertainment shows.

"This is the first ever VeggieTales licence for children's eyewear and Eyes of Faith is the perfect partner with not only quality products, but a heart for philanthropy," said Brian Mitchell, director of marketing and licensing at Big Idea. "We couldn't be more enthusiastic about this new relationship."

Jim Schneider, founder of Eyes of Faith, added: "Not only will our relationship with VeggieTales mean that we will be able to produce high quality eyewear for children, but it will immeasurably expand our reach to those in need."
