Big Idea has teamed with ScrollMotion to launch the first ever VeggieTales Children’s Book Reader for iPhone and iPod Touch, available this month from the iTunes app store.

Each VeggieTales book app is specially priced at $3.99.

The all-new ScrollMotion Iceberg Kids App for VeggieTales creates a fun 'interactive reading experience' designed specifically for children.

iPhone or iPod Touch users can purchase select VeggieTales stories for use with the free Iceberg Reader application and expand upon the traditional children’s book reading experience by incorporating such features as scrolling image exploration, interactive controls and a native voiceover reading, as well as a voice recorder so that children can replay a recorded version of a parent’s or caregiver’s reading of the story.

VeggieTales’ titles, available exclusively through iTunes, include LarryBoy and the Golden Gum Balls, The Good, The Bad and the Silly, The Fastest Dodgeball in the West and The Surprising Knight.

“We are thrilled to bring the VeggieTales brand to life on the iPhone and iPod Touch,” said John Lema, ScrollMotion CEO. “With its vivid imagery and captivating narratives, the VeggieTales series is perfect for this new interactive reading experience.”
