Halfbrick and Hap Consulting, are you reading this? Take note. A real life Fruit Ninja has emerged.

And he wants to break the world record for the number of cucumbers sliced up in one minute. With playing cards.

48-year-old Ye Tongxin from Nanjing in China’s Jiangsu Province is a school bus manager by day. But at night, he becomes a card-throwing master fruit and veg ninja.

His current best is cutting a row of 12 cucumbers in 47.2 seconds, but he reckons he can slice up 18 in just one minute by the end of this year. If he manages to do so, he’ll create a new Guiness World Record.

And he means business.

"Usually, I'll spend one hour running at the playground in the morning,” said Tongxin. “I'll run some eight to ten laps as a way to train my strength. Then after dinner, I'll train for two hours, starting from 6pm to 8pm."

Halfbrick, if there’s anyone out there who would make a better ambassador for your brand, they’ll have a tough time beating Tongxin. He also dices up watermelons and apples.
