Licensed character housewares firm, Vogue International has strengthened its sales team as it looks to continue its recent growth.
David Pannett (pictured) has come on board as UK sales manager, supported by national account managers, Simon Rowland and Liz O'Shea, plus Claire Lewis as senior national account manager.
Vogue produces a wide range of products - including room décor storage, lunch bags, LED lamps and torches, sticker sets and novelty drinks cups - featuring licensees such as Spongebob Squarepants, Hello Kitty, Disney Princess, Dora the Explorer and Thomas the Tank Engine among others.
"Despite the economic downturn of the last two years, we have enjoyed strong sales largely by introducing exciting new licences and a value range," explained Chris Thompson, director at Vogue.
"We felt that we needed to add and restructure our sales team in order to continue our recent growth and are very excited about the new recruits. David [Pannett] has over 12 years' experience in sales and doubled the turnover at his previous company. Prior to that he worked in retail - having worked on both sides of the fence, he will bring us a new and exciting sales dimension.
"Our three new national account managers have solid track records between them, handling multi-million pound accounts working for companies as diverse as Bostik, Royal Worcester and Hy-Pro."
