Walker Books reveals plans for Guess How Much I Love You

New designs unveiled for baby and infant products; key licensees already on board.

Walker Books' licensing division has revealed new creative directions for the classic brand, Guess How Much I Love You.

The new designs are specifically for baby and infant products and will launch in 2013 in the UK, then rolling out to several international markets including Germany, Australia and the US.

A number of partners have already signed up. These include Rainbow Designs (plush, toys and gift); Dennicci (apparel); Suncrest (bedding and textiles); and Hallmark UK (greetings cards and gift wrap).

In the US, licensing will build on Candlewick Press' current successful licensing partnerships with Hallmark US for greetings cards, gifts and recordable books, as well as Kids Preferred for plush, toys and gift.

"The vision for Guess How Much I Love You is to establish the brand as one of the all time classics for the baby and infant category," said Anna Hewitt, head of licensing at Walker Books. "It's fantastic that the new designs have been received so well and we are extremely happy to have secured such great partners as we build the licensing programme."

Mary McCagg, director of licensing at Candlewick Press, added: "With the successful debut of Guess How Much I Love You: The Adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare on the Disney Jr channel earlier this year and a refreshed creative direction, we are excited to continue to build Guess How Much I Love You as that most special baby and infant property."
