The studio first hit the grand total last year, on November 26th.

The new tally of around $4.05 billion joins the firm’s 2014 records, including $2bn internationally on August 4th and $3bn globally on August 5th.

Deadline reports that the Disney’s 2014 box office has been largely driven by four films, two from Marvel and two fairy tale adaptations.

Guardians of the Galaxy topped the bill with $330 million domestically, and a global total of $770.1m, meanwhile, Captain America: The Winter Soldier saw $259.8m domestically and $714.7m worldwide.

Meanwhile, Maleficent holds the number two spot internationally in 2014 with $516.8 million, while Frozen earned $733 million of its total $1.27 bn during the calendar year.
