Warner Bros. Consumer Products details global Wonder Woman licensing programme

Warner Bros. Consumer Products has detailed its roster of global partners to support the upcoming feature movie, Wonder Woman.

Ahead of the film’s release on June 2, the firm has teamed with Walmart and its global toy licensee Mattel to launch an assortment of Wonder Woman toys across the US.

The month-long programme will run through to April 28 and will highlight Mattel’s extensive line up including dolls and role play items.

Walmart is planning to roll out exclusive products from Jakks Pacific, Funko and Fisher-Price throughout May.

April 7 will see the merchandising programme launch worldwide and will be highlighted by global partner The LEGO Group with an exclusive offering at Toys R Us and LEGO Stores.

Additional toy partners include Mattel with action figures, Hot Wheels and a Barbie collection, Rubie’s for costumes and accessories, Funko for collectables, Jakks Pacific, Nobel Collection for prop replicas, Sideshow Collectables for movie-inspired statuettes, Hallmark for greeting cards, Jada Toys for metal collectables, Tonner Dolls for fashion dolls and more.

In apparel and WBCP has partnered with Bioworld for clothing and accessories, Evy’s and Richard Lees International for apparel, New Era for caps and Underboss for sleepwear.

On a global retail scale, WBCP has tapped a raft of partners in the EMEA region with partnerships across Italy and Germany as well as in Australia and Latin America.
