Warner Bros Consumer Products is planning a special Harry Potter event in London on July 2nd.

Harry Potter: A Magical Event at the London Film Museum will take place just five days before the world premiere of the final film in the franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.

Fans - who are being encouraged to get dressed up and head to London's South Bank - will be able to see actual film props and costumes which were used through the series. Products will also be on sale.

Tomy will be demonstrating its products on site, including The Monster Book of Monsters, Hermione's Bag and the Infra-Red wands (pictured). Fans will be able to test their wand skills in a competition to win a pair of tickets to the premiere of the final film on July 7th.

Visitors will also be able to dress in official costumes from Rubies, Noble and Lochaven, and have their photos taken in front of the Hogwarts backdrop. Fully built Lego Harry Potter construction sets will be on display, with fans given the chance to guess how many Lego minifigures are hidden among the display for a chance to win Lego products.

The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 video game will also be available to try, while Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment will be providing game pods for visitors to play Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7.

Panini, Transworld, Winning Moves and She Who Dares will also be on site demonstrating their new products.

The event is being promoted via the Harry Potter UK Facebook page, which has over one million fans. Entrance will be free to those who arrive in Harry Potter costume.

The props and product displays will remain at the London Film Museum until the end of the year.
