Zodiak Rights has secured a deal with Abbey Home Media for the first Waybuloo audio book.

Read by Lynda Bellingham, Storytime with Waybuloo is a 60-minute audio book containing four adventures - Jumping, Moving Things, Snuggly Slide and Bongleberry Juice.

Each story is based on the four Piplings - Nok Tok, Lau Lau, Yojojo and De Li - and feature all the usual Waybuloo signature phrases which children are familiar with from the show.

"We are delighted to have launched Waybuloo's first audio book in partnership with Abbey Home Media," said Maria Sze, brand director at Zodiak Rights. "With 36 licensees in place to date, the Waybuloo brand continues to go from strength to strength.

"A recent survey revealed that 72 per cent of Waybuloo viewers were interested in new merchandise and with this positive feedback, we look forward to building on the Waybuloo product range and announcing more licensees in the months to come."

Emma Evans, sales and acquisitions director at AHMG, added: "Waybuloo is perfect for the Abbey Kid's Aloud audio range. It ticks every box with its 'listen again' stories and lovable characters."
