Warner Bros. has announced the first details about the highly anticipated sequel to 2016's Wizarding World movie with Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
The new film will debut in November of next year and with the announcement came fans first glimpse at the cast for including Jude Law as a young Albus Dumbledore and Johnny Depp as villain Grindelwald.
Also present in the cast photo are returning stars Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), Tina (Katherine Waterston), Queenie (Alison Sudol), Jacob (Dan Fogler) and Credence (Ezra Miller) and new cast members Newt’s brother, Theseus Scamander (who honestly got the better name of the two), played by Callum Turner, and his fiance Leta Lestrange, played by Zoë Kravitz.
The first film had a massive licensing push and was one of the most profitable films of the year, building on the loyal Harry Potter fanbase. This next installment in JK Rowling's movie series is like to have a similarly large presence in the licensing space.
