Warner Bros Consumer Products has sealed an extension to its existing deal with WizKids/Neca, which will see characters from DC Comics continue to appear on its HeroClix platform.

The new 2010 DC Comics HeroClix line-up will draw from a number of current storylines, including Blackest Night Starter Game and Brightest Day Action Pack, both of which are based on the Green Lantern comic book series.

The range will also include the Watchmen Collector’s Set, made up of 25 figures, as well as Jonah Hex, based on the upcoming Warner film later this month. There will also be a DC Comics 75th Anniversary Set.

“WizKids/Neca is a respected leader in the gaming industry and an ideal partner for this property,” said Karen McTier, EVP, domestic licensing and worldwide marketing at WBCP. “We’re thrilled about the opportunity to continue working with them to bring DC Comics to fans in such a unique and fun way.”

HeroClix is a collectible miniatures game, where players construct teams of comic book super heroes and villains, playing out battles between characters turn by turn on a grid map.
