Warner Bros Consumer Products has inked two new toy partnerships in Germany for its Batman: The Brave and the Bold property.
Mattel and the Simba Dickie Group will create technical gadgets, a new Batmobile, a quadbike and a number of other vehicles.
Mattel has recently released an action set featuring telepathic Gorilla Grodd, as well as collector editions of Batman figurines and the Batmobile. A major marketing campaign, including TV spots, is running to support the line.
Meanwhile, Simba Dickie will roll out the Batman RC quadbike, plus a speedboat and hovercraft, walkie talkie, spy watch and special binoculars.
"Batman: The Brave and the Bold has been received extremely well by Batman fans of all ages," said Peter Bichler, MD of WBCP Germany and Austria. "We're extremely happy with the successful relationship that we've built with Mattel and Simba whose ranges of products are sure to fascinate many little superheroes the world over."
