The latest Sesame Street video game is aiming to encourage the development of healthy habits for life in pre-schoolers.
Sesame Street: Ready, Set, Grover will be available on Nintendo Wii and DS devices. The game sees Grover set out to create a series of challenges designed to help other Sesame Street characters get active. Elmo and Abby jump over obstacles, row a boat and play 'Grover Says', all while learning life lessons on healthy habits.
The game promotes physical activity, good nutrition, personal hygiene and the importance of rest and relaxation.
"Designed around Sesame Workshop's Healthy Habits for Life curriculum, the game helps instill healthy behaviours in children while being fun to play," said Samantha Ryan, SVP, production and development, Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment.
