Wicked Cool Toys signs as master toy partner for Thomas Edison's Secret Lab

Genius Brands International has appointed Wicked Cool Toys as its master toy partner for its new animated series, Thomas Edison’s Secret Lab.

Wicked Cool will now develop and bring to market a line of STEM-based toys, including compounds, activity kits, science kits, food sets, figures, play-sets, novelties and role play products.

The new lines will be designed to encourage kids to explore science.

“The talented team at Wicked Cool Toys has a deep passion and inventive spirit, and we are delighted to partner with them to introduce a range of products inspired by one of the most prolific inventors in history that will spark kids’ imaginations,” said Stone Newman, president of global licensing at GBI.

Thomas Edison’s Secret Lab follows the adventures of Angie, a 12 year old science prodigy and her young science club who accidentally discovers Thomas Edison’s secret Lab.

Michael Rinzler and Jeremy Padawer, co-presidents of Wicked Cool Toys, added: “Thomas Edison’s Secret Lab provides a seemingly endless array of fascinating themes and inventive ideas that translate perfectly to toys.

“We are very excited to collaborate with the GBI team to develop creative and imaginative STEM-based toys that makes science a blast for kids.”

Wicked Cool Toys joins a growing roster of licensees for the Thomas Edison’s Secret Lab property, including Discovery Kids, Da Vinci Learning and NCircle Entertainment.
