This news means that the company will now be able to supply total room solutions, further strengthening its position in this market.
Details of the new MDF furniture range will be announced shortly but it is likely to contain items such as children’s desks, tables and chairs and storage solutions.
Lucy Wynn-Jones, marketing manager at Worlds Apart said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have been given the accolade of taking on these key MDF furniture licences.
“Added to our already successful licensed ReadyRoom range, which includes Toddler Beds, Go Glow Lights, Cosy Chairs, Sofas and Storage, we’re confident that Worlds Apart will strengthen its position as a convenient and efficient complete solution for retailers in the children’s furniture market.”
Amber Bennett, home senior category manager from Disney commented: “We are very excited to be expanding our partnership with Worlds Apart. Disney has been working with them as a licensee for many years.
“The tremendous success of their current children’s bedroom solution gives us every confidence that they are the right partner to expand the furniture sector for Disney and with their specialist expertise, drive the product innovation that Worlds Apart and we as a company are renowned for.”
