New website for six to 14 year olds backed by cross-platform marketing drive.

WWE has opened the doors of a new website aimed at its younger fans, including activities, videos and other age appropriate content.

Aimed at six to 14 year olds, WWEKIDS.com includes various areas where children can interact with various WWE superstars. The 'Play' area for example includes a number of customised interactive applications and videos, plus audio and profiles of the wrestlers.

"The site launch will be supported by a comprehensive cross-platform marketing blitz including promotion on WWE TV programming, WWE.com and WWE magazines," said Bob Lee, VP publishing director.

The initiative is a brand extension to the recently launched WWE Kids Magazine, which was launched in the US back in April.
