Following its international launch at last year's Mipcom, pre-school show Yo Gabba Gabba continues to grow in popularity.
RDF Kids & Family has sold the first series to more than seven major international territories. Early deals include sales to major broadcasters such as ABC Australia (where it is the number one ranked pre-school programme on Australian television so far this year), Nick Australia, Treehouse TV in Canada, Disney Channel Latin America, Nickelodeon Asia, Hop TV in Israel, Jetix Netherlands and SABC in South Africa.
Yo Gabba Gabba has already been recommissioned for a second season in the US (where it airs on Nick Jr) and is performing well in the UK.
"Yo Gabba Gabba is a unique and groundbreaking show that alread has a second series commission and a fantastic response internationally," said Henrietta Hurford-Jones, director of RDF Kids & Family. "We are really proud to be working with these great broadcasters who share our excitement about the series."
In addition, the company has signed a deal with book publisher Simon & Schuster for Commonwealth rights in Yo Gabba Gabba for a range of books including storybooks, board books, novelty books and activity books.
Further strengthening the publishing programme, annual rights have also been licensed to Egmont UK.

Other UK licensees already announced are Spin Master (master toy) and Paramount (DVD). RDF has also confirmed the following UK licensees: Character World, Drew Brady & Co, GB Eye, H Grossman, Portico Designs, Rainbow Productions, Redan, Vogue International and Worlds Apart.
In the US, over 20 licensees have pledged support.
