Zodiak Kids bags Horrid Henry global TV rights

Distribution deal inked with Novel Entertainment for children's animation.

Zodiak Kids will be aiming to extend the role of Horrid Henry around the world, after scooping the global TV rights to the children's animation.

Novel Entertainment has assigned the firm all international TV and DVD distribution rights across all three series, while it has also secured international broadcast rights for future series.

Zodiak Kids will be announcing international TV sales of the brand new series three for the property in due course.

"As a much-loved TV and book series, Horrid Henry is already a well known character and we are very much looking forward to extending the role out of the shows around the world," said Matthew Frank, CEO at Zodiak Rights.

Mike Watts, MD of Novel Entertainment, added: "Horrid Henry is a brand with global appeal and we are excited to be working with Zodiak Kids to extend the reach of the show to new audiences."
