Banijay Group’s Zodiak Kids has announced that it has sold series two of pre-school alien adventure series Floogals ahead of its launch in the US later this year on Universal Kids, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment’s network for kids 2-12.

Series two of this groundbreaking animation has been pre-sold to WeKids for China, ABC Australia and to DeAgostini in Italy, for its dedicated kids' channel DeA Junior by Zodiak Kids, which shares global distribution rights with NBCUniversal.

Floogals series two is a further 52 x 11’ episodes, based on an original idea from Dan Good and co-produced by Nevision, Zodiak Kids Studios and Universal Kids with UK special effects studio Jellyfish Pictures.

Fleeker, Flo and Boomer are pocket-sized alien adventurers on a mission to observe, experience and detail the new and exciting world around them – Planet Earth. Arriving in their spaceship with a bump from the distant planet Floog, the Floogals are on a mission to document everything around them in the peculiar world of “hoomans”.

The series is a Universal Kids original commission and has been a hit since its launch in early 2016. Floogals series one was a ratings winner on the network ranking #7 (out of 48) in Women 18-49 and key demographic Kids 2-5 in 2017.
