Zodiak Rights is looking to secure international sales for the third series, and give the licensing programme a boost, following its acquisition of the Little Princess property.

The firm secured global rights for the pre-school hit from The Illuminated Film Company.

Three series of the programme have been made at the Company's studio in Hammersmith, totalling 104 episodes. Little Princess currently airs on Five's Milkshake in the UK, as well as on numerous channels internationally.

"Little Princess is already a well known and well loved character around the globe," said Matthew Frank, CEO of Zodiak Rights. "We are extremely excited to be part of one of the most exciting children's properties on the market and are confident that through our expertise we can add further value to the brand."

Iain Harvey, producer at The Illuminated Film Company, added: "I'm delighted to be working with Zodiak Rights on taking Little Princess on further adventures and to pastures new."

Zodiak Rights holds all future international broadcast rights (excluding Japan and Korea) and all licensing and merchandising rights (excluding publishing) to Little Princess.
