eOne boosts licensees for Peppa Pig with new deals

Entertainment One (eOne) has boosted its line of licensees for its pre-school property Peppa Pig in Australia, with new partnerships spanning apparel and personal care.

Hot Springs has been signed to develop a line of Peppa Pig outerwear and sleepwear for its autumn/winter collection, which is set to hit Big W stores this month.

Plus, Australian firm Pacific Brands will be producing branded underwear and socks.

The company is also building on its relationship with biscuit partner Park Avenue Foods, who will expand its range of confectionary to include Peppa Pig dessert treats and ice creams.

Lastly, Beiersdorf, which produces Elastoplast Wound-care, will be developing Peppa Pig Plasters from May 2016.

Con Goutzoulas, commercial director at eOne Licensing Australia, said: “We are delighted to welcome these vibrant new partners to our licensing program.

“We’re also thrilled to be building on our successful relationship with Park Avenue Foods as we continue our strategic expansion of Peppa Pig into the grocery aisles.”
