Entertainment One’s Family division – which is currently managing the rapid international expansion of Peppa Pig among other brands – saw revenue increase by seven per cent YOY in 2012.
Overall, the company enjoyed a 25 per cent leap in underlying profit growth last year, up to £53.8 million.
However, Entertainment One also suffered almost £27 million in charges relating to factors such as potential pay offs for top execs and HMV and Blockbuster falling into administration.
Plans were also revealed to seek a premium listing that will admit it to the FTSE 250 market.
Elsewhere, revenues at the film division grew 25 per cent to £518 million, thanks to the success of the fifth movie in the The Twilight Saga. The TV arm grew revenues by 15 per cent to £133.4 million.
