Entertainment One Licensing is continuing with its international expansion wit the opening of a new office n Melbourne.

The new premises will serve as one of eOne’s Australian headquarters for all operations across its licensing division.

The move will see the firm’s new appointments, Con Goutzoulas and Trish Padoin, will helm the Australian operations and look to maximize the potential of the popular properties, Peppa Pig, Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom and Humf.

“The opening of an Australian office heralds an exciting time for the business as we look to build on the huge growth opportunities that this territory presents,” said Andrew Carley, head of global licensing at Entertainment One.

“Given the incredible success that Peppa has achieved in Australia to date, it’s important that we have a dedicated team on the ground to manage the next stage of the licensing strategy and develop the other brands in our portfolio.

“Both Con and Trish have a storng industry reputation and undisputed knowledge of the market that will drive our brands forward in this region and we look forward to exploring new opportunities with them on board.”
