eOne secures first Brazilian licensees for Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom

Entertainment One has secured its first swathe of Brazilian licensing partners for the hit preschool property, Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom.

The roster of new partners has been revealed as the studio looks to build the global footprint for the brand within new territories.

Brazilian licensees Piffer and Regina have signed a deal to develop a line of partyware based on the hit property, a range which will debut in Q4 this year.

Meanwhile, Panini Brasil will launch a line of collectable stickers and trading cards from February 2017.

Ami Dieckman, head of international licensing at Entertainment One, said: “We’re delighted to welcome the first licensees for Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom in Brazil and are on course to launch the full programme by Q3 2017 as brand awareness begins to grow across the region.”

Monica Candiani, head of international sales at Entertainment One, added: “We have enjoyed great success with Peppa Pig on TV Cultura so we’re now thrilled to be building upon this existing relationship with one of Brazil’s most impoatant FTA broadcasters and bringing Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom to preschoolers across the country.”
