Entertainment One Licensing is looking to strengthen its pop culture brands with the appointment of a new senior vice president of lifestyle.
Nina Leong has joined the team with the remit of strengthening the status of So So Happy and Skelanimals.
Leong has served as a consultant for eOne’s Lifestyle division since October 2014. Her new role will see her manage the lifestyle team based in eOne’s Calabasas, California office.
Reporting to Andrew Carley, head of global licensing, Leon is charged with developing US and international brand strategies for its lifestyle properties across multiple channels.
Leong boasts extensive knowledge of lifestyle licensing, sales, marketing and retail, having held similar roles with Saban, The Cherokee Group, Ocean Pacific and handling licensing for Britney Spears.
“We are in the midst of an incredibly significant period of growth and we are delighted to strengthen the team with Leong’s appointment,” said Carley.
“She brings valuable experience of developing commercially successful lifestyle brands and we are confident that her vision, contacts and creativity will drive growth for our lifestyle properties both in the US and in international markets.”
Nina Leong replaces Cindy Bailey, founder of Art Impressions, who has left the company to pursue new projects.
