The new ride based on the 2007 Pixar animated movie is predicted to deliver a boost for the Disney theme park.

Euro Disney in for a €30m boost thanks to Ratatouille

Euro Disney is forecasting a €32million boost from its recently opened attraction based on the hit 2007 animation, Ratatouille.

Based in the Disney theme park complex in Paris, the ride features ‘cutting edge’ trackless simulator cars based on the movie from Disney’s Pixar studio.

A leading City analyst has projected that the ride will inject a further €32m (£25m) while the Telegraph reports that the good new arrives just in time for the Park that last year saw a €27.5m operating loss on revenue of €1.3bn.

“My global estimate is that they could have a rebound on the attendance in the second half of 2014 mainly due to Ratatouille,” explained one analyst. “I am estimating an operating result in the black at €4.5m.”

Euro Disney’s next major boost is expected to arrive in 2016 when it opens a new leisure complex, Villages Nature in partnership with France’s holiday apartment rental company, Pierre et Vacances.
