Twentieth Century Fox has teamed with mobile game developer TinyCo to create a new Family Guy mobile app game.
Influenced by the popular animation’s 212 episode catalogue, the game will feature a new original storyline, allowing fans to venture through Quahog.
Rick Phillips, SVP at Fox Digital Entertainment, said: "Mobile platforms are a new frontier for engaging with your favourite characters and worlds.
"With more than a decade on the air, Family Guy has built a world like no other with some of the most beloved characters in entertainment today.
"This game will bring the best of the Family Guy experience to mobile gamers all over the world."
Game developer, TinyCo is working directly with Family Guy show writers to develop the game’s story and dialogue, offering players an authentic experience with original animation.
Suli Ali, CEO of TinyCo, added: "Family Guy is an amazing show that is famous for its sharp wit, unpredictable storytelling, and hilarious cast of characters.
"We are capturing that essence and providing players with an awesome way to get their Family Guy fix every day."
The free to play game will be available on iOS and Android devices this year.
