Warner Bros’ Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them has become the biggest opening of the year so far at the UK box office.
The Harry Potter spin-off debuted with £15.33m, overtaking Batman v Superman’s opening of £14.62m.
Looking at Friday to Sunday tallies, Screen reports that Fantastic Beasts enjoyed the third-best opening of the wider Harry Potter franchise to date, ahead of Goblet Of Fire’s £14.93m debut.
