Fashion label Midnight Studios reveals Sex Pistols clothing collaboration

American fashion label, Midnight Studios has revealed its official collaboration with the iconic British punk group, Sex Pistols.

The studio – founded by designer Shane Gonzales – has produced a collection in collaboration with Bravado, Universal Music Group’s leading merchandise and brand management company.

The collection features a series of t-shirts and sweatshirts created from original artworks and silhouettes based on the band’s debut album, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols.

The collection will launch exclusively in the UK at Selfridges flagship store on London’s Oxford Street on June 27 with a special preview event in store on June 26.

‘Midnight took these original pieces from the band’s archive and altered them into unique designs exclusively for the collaboration,’ read a statement from Bravado.

The Midnight Studios x Sex Pistols line follos the label’s previous capsule in Bauhaus, making this the second time the studio has collaborated with one of its core influences.
