Fifty Shades of Grey becomes UK’s best-selling Kindle title

Amazon has released a list of its best-selling Kindle books over the last five years in the UK, and Fifty Shades of Grey has topped the list.

The firm released the data to mark the five year anniversary of it opening the Kindle Store in the UK.

In second place was EL James’ follow-up, Fifty Shades Darker, while the third book in the series, Fifty Shades Freed, is the UK’s fourth best-selling Kindle book.

The first film based on the brand, which has spawned popular licensed lingerine and sex toy ranges, also became the UK’s bestselling digital download last month.
