More experienced scriptwriters are on board for the Filly Funtasia TV series.
The renowned US cartoon sitcom writers include Dean Stefan (The Penguins of Madagascar, The Octonauts, Jake & The Never Land Pirates), Noelle Wright (Doc McStuffins, Sofia The First), Jymn Magon (Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures) and Johnny Hartmann (Monster High).
The scriptwriters are working on new episodes with Sean Derek (The Smurfs, ZhuZhu Pets, Strawberry Shortcake, Sabrina, Hello Kitty).
The cartoon series based on the Filly brand, from Dracco and BRB Internacional, will premiere globally next year.
The show is created in high-definition and is aimed at a family audience. It consists of 26 30-minute episodes.
Filly is the ‘number one girls licence in Germany’, claims BRB, with 60 million collectable figurines sold and distributed in several EMEA countries by master toy licensee Simba Dickie Group.
The toy line comprises nine collections and more than 200 different figures, which feature Swarovski elements and golden crowns.
The cartoon series will feature Rose, a Filly Unicorn who has just arrived at a new magic school in the Kingdom of Funtasia.
The Filly Funtasia trailer was first presented at the MIPTV fair in Cannes this year.
BRB Internacional distributes Filly Funtasia worldwide, except in Germany, and it manages the rights to the Filly brand in Spain and Portugal.
Dracco distributes the show in Germany.
