Campaign will support new toy lines from Flair

Fremantle launches extensive Tree Fu Tom campaign

Popular pre-school property Tree Fu Tom is looking towards a busy 2014 as Fremantle Media Kids and Family Entertainment launches a major brand awareness and retail campaign.

Designed to support Flair’s spring/summer toy range and other Tree Fu Tom licensed products, the campaign kicked off with a Tree Fu Tom promotion in 600 First Choice and Thomson stores throughout January.

The deal includes the distribution of 60,000 Tree Fu Tom activity sheets with a competition and a branded FSDU in each store.

February will see new episodes airing on CBeebies and live shows being held exclusively at Westfield shopping centres in London, Derby and Merry Hill. 

Tree Fu Tom will feature in five performances a day, while the event will be supported with retailer activity from The Entertainer in each venue.

February will also see two nationwide promotions with major toy retailers, featuring gift-with-purchase and competitions, supported by character appearances.

May will see the launch of the new Tree Fu Tom zone within CBeebies Land at Alton Towers – Tree Fu Tom’s Training Camp – supported by a major PR and marketing campaign.

Finally, brand new in Flair’s Tree Fu Tom toy range is the role play Ranger Tom Utility Belt with accessories to turn Tree Fu Tom fans into Ranger Tom. 

The adjustable super reflecting Sapstone belt with storage contains Tree Fu Ranger activity cards, a Tree Fu Ranger book, clip on magnifying ‘Size-o-scope’ with iris-function lens cover, clip on Tree Fu Ranger badges, crayon and a retractable navigation compass with flip out magnifying glass. To complete the Tree Fu Ranger look, the set also contains a woggle and scarf.
