Disney’s award-winning animation Frozen is to make its TV debut across the US when it airs on Disney channels in 2016.
The studio confirmed earlier this week that the film would begin to broadcast across many of its TV holdings – such as ABC, ABC Family, Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior – in February of next year.
The announcement is the latest in a scheduled slate of outlets with which to keep the Frozen franchise top of mind for consumers, according to Variety.
Walt Disney Studios has already announced a sequel to the hit 2013 movie as well as unveiled plans for a Broadway adaptation.
A related short feature, titled Frozen Fever, ran during theatrical showings of Disney’s live-action remake of Cinderella.
