Funko could just be carving a new market for pop-inspired beauty products as it launches its first cosmetics collection inspired by a cast of Disney most infamous villains.
The collection will be sold at Ulta Beauty’s stores and website exclusively.
The makeup line is based on four classic Disney villains in Maleficent, Ursula, Cruella De Vil and the Evil Queen from Snow White. It will include a variety of lip gloss, eyeliner, blush, bronzer, highlighter, eye shadow and makeup brushes.
The cosmetics collection will launch on September 15 and emerges as the pop culture specialist Funko expands its Pop accessories range with Disney villains.
Josh Silverman, an executive at Disney parks and consumer products, said the Funko tie-up was a “wickedly glamorous collaboration.”
Funko’s marketing chief, Holly Hartney said the collection is a “whimsical way” for Disney fans and beauty junkies to show their fandom.
