Further growth for Frida Kahlo brand as Art Ask Agency signs with Signare

The Frida Kahlo licensing programme is continuing its growth plans outside of the classic licensed products thanks to a new partnership with Signare for licensed tapestry bags and accessories.

The latest partnership adds to growing portfolio of licensees that now includes items such as Christmas baubles, jewellery, a Barbie Doll, hand embroidered denim jackets, flower pots, wine and a rose.

The new Signare collection will be presented at SpringFair, NEC, Birmingham, in the New Year, while Art Ask Agency is already reported positive initial reaction to the new range. There are two ranges, each with 10 pieces covering everyday, evening and travel and distribution will be worldwide.

“All our designs are inspired by nature, great art and by life itself, and each one is lovingly reproduced in the style of woven tapestry, making every Signare piece instantly recognisable,” said Signare’s managing director.

“Really love these special products and Frida is in great company at Signare as they also do licensed ranges of Jane Austen and the V&A.” – Maria Strid, owner of Art Ask Agency.

A British company, Signare Tapestry is based in Surrey with locations in both Europe and USA. It offers over 60 woven tapestry artwork fabrics and 30 products with a collection of fashion accessories and soft furnishings that feature designs reflective of colour and diversity.
