Game of 2 Halves signs exclusive global deal with Deep Silver

Licensing agent Game of 2 Halves has signed an exclusive worldwide representation agreement with video game publisher, Deep Silver.

The games publishing division of Koch Media, Deep Silver is behind titles such as Dead Island, Risen, Sacred, Metro, Secret Files and Lost Horizon.

Deep Silver’s portfolio of games has already attracted millions of fans around the globe, while Game of 2 Halves will now look to target sectors such as adult apparel, collectables, figurines, novels, graphic novels and fashion accessories.

Paul Comben, Game of 2 Halves managing director, said: "Deep Silver has a portfolio of iconic games that are popular throughout the world so from a licensing point of view we will have a very strong platform to build on.

"Licensees will be able to offer product to the brand’s millions of fans as well as tapping into the wider market, so we are expecting to deal with considerable interest in all these properties."

Patrick Lorkin, international sales and new business development manager, Koch Media, added: "Deep Silver are pleased to be working with game of 2 Halves on licensing our brands.

"Video game properties are known as an important category to the licensing business so this represents a new line of revenue.
