GameCo teams with CBS for Star Trek video game gambling machines

Video game gambling machine creators, GameCo Inc has secured a licensing agreement with CBS Consumer Products to develop a game based on the Star Trek franchise.

Set to debut this autumn, the new title, Star Trek Deep Space Nine Adventure will allow players to take control of the U.S.S. Defiant and battle their way to victory through ship-to-ship combat.

The game will feature polished 3D models of the iconic spacecraft that will attract fans of Star Trek and the space combat genre.

The deal was brokered by Richmond Management Group and provides GameCo access to multiple Star Trek series, including Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise.

“This fan-favourite franchise has been entertaining people across the globe and is established as one of the most iconic and popular brands ever,” said Rich Maryyanek, global business development, GameCo Inc.

“We are excited to work with CBS Consumer Products to bring a space battle action game to casino floors that highlights the entertainment value Star Trek is known for.”

GameCo will release ten or more new VGM titles throughout 2017, including games currently in development under license from major developers and entertainment IP companies such as Paramount’s Mission Impossible, Paranormal and Ferris Bueller, as well as Terminator 2: Judgement Day from StudioCanal SAS.
