The popular giftware licensee GB eye is continue with its 2019 expansion plans with a move to new premises next month in order to accommodate the company’s growth, while consolidating its business into one site.
The move comes on the heels of a strong first quarter for GB eye, who is now looking to bring together its manufacturing and pick and pack facilities into one location. It will help GB eye keep the momentum going and build on its current success, the firm has stated.
GB eye currently prints 40 per cent of its products in-house. The new premises will enable the team to expand this print on-demand service into new formats, while, according to the company ‘allowing them to react quickly to demands and trends, providing an unparalleled service to trade and consumers.’
The past four years have seen GB eye place a strong strategic focus on gifting, and the forthcoming move will see the company further developing these lines. Product innovations will also be on display in a new HQ showroom for retailers to visit and view the ranges, ensuring the licensee remains a key partner for brands across the 52 countries it distributes to.
Having spent almost 20 years in its current location, the new 40,000ft² site will also house GB eye’s long serving senior management team, comprising of ten people, clocking up an enormous 220 years’ service and experience.
