GB Eye re-signs exclusive three-year supply contract with HMV

Licensed gifts manufacturer and distributor, GB Eye has re-signed its exclusive three year supply contract with HMV.

It spans the slate of 112 HMV stores currently trading and makes up an important part of the retailers plans for growth under the new leadership of Doug Putman’s Sunrise Records.

Joanne Copley-Dunn, commercial director of GB Eye, told “With 112 stores currently trading and exciting plans for growth from the new, enthusiastic owner we are really excited to have reconfirmed this important relationship and are proud to remain the best placed company to provide licensed posters and giftware with such an extensive 365 offering.”

GB Eye has also recently signed a slate of new and leading entertainment brands including the likes of Peaky Blinders, The Original Stormtrooper, LOL Surprise, Riverdale and Cuphead.

These join long-standing licenses for the firm, including Pokémon, harry Potter, Rick and Morty, Dragon Ball Z and DC Comics.

Copley-Dunn, added: “Along with continuous product development and some exciting new licensees on the way, coupled with extensive UK and international distribution mean that the company is very excited for the years ahead.”
