Genius Brands International has partnered with apparel specialist Thread Collective to create a line of Psycho Bunny outerwear.
Under the new deal, Thread Collective will introduce a collection of high-performance clothing for cold weather, expected to debut at high-end department and specialty stores in autumn 2016.
Outerwear has been highlighted by GBI as a key category in the licensing firm’s strategy to expand the Psycho Bunny apparel programme.
“Thread Collective has a stellar reputation for its ability to identify market trends and to merchandise the right product at the right price,” said Stone Newman, president of global consumer products, GBI.
“We will offer fans of the brand a new collection featuring season must-haves while maintaining the authenticity of the Psycho Bunny brand.”
Thread Collective’s chief executive officer, Alen Brandman has stated that the firm looks forward to launching the new collection featuring design details drawn from its experience of creating premium outerwear.
“Psycho Bunny has truly captured and captivated men looking for classic product with a contemporary edge, and we are excited to have formed this partnership with Genius Brands and the Pyscho Bunny team to build the outerwear category globally.”
Thread Collective now joins a growing roster of licensees charged with developing a wide spectrum of product lines under the Psycho Bunny brand.
