Gemma International teams pairs with Bulldog for Miraculous Ladybug cards and gifting

Gemma International has detailed a new partnership with Bulldog Licensing to develop a new range of licensed cards, gift packaging and partyware for Miraculous Ladybug.

The popular French CGI action animated series follows the adventures of two Parisian teenagers, Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste as they transform into the superheroes Ladybug and Cat Noir.

The series has already found success in over 80 countries and currently broadcasts on Netflix in the US and The Disney Channel and Pop TV in the UK.

The brand has attracted over 200 international licensees to date, with Bandai on board as its master toy partner and over 3000 products in development.

Gemma International is currently working on the development of its line of cards, gift ware and more.

Gemma International’s licensing director, Tim Rudd-Clarke, said: “We first discovered Miraculous Ladybug in Las Vegas a few years ago and we have been keeping a close eye on her ever since.

“The brand has been growing at a great rate of knots and gaining traction across multiple platforms, and it’s no wonder as she fills a huge gap in the market that has been vacant for quite some time; for a strong and empowered female superhero, and unlike the majority of other girls’ properties out there, she isn’t pink.

“I would urge all of those buyers who like to follow new trends, to take a look at this wonderful new brand. Bulldog Licensing is an agency reaching for the stars, and we are pleased to be working with them on Miraculous Ladybug.”
