GIRLS MONTH: Ella the Elephant goes global

DHX Media has announced several global TV deals for Ella the Elephant.

The animated pre-school series has been sold to Disney Junior in the US, TVO in Canada along with Warner Home Video (US), Yumarcak TV in Turkey and Tele-Quebec in the Canadian Province.

DHX Media has international television distribution and licensing rights to Ella the Elephant in Canada, US, The Middle East and India.

For the rest of the world, the show based on the book series Ella the Elegant Elephant by Carmela and Steve D’Amico, is handled by Fremantle Media Kids and Familiy Entertainment.

The show follows the adventures of a caring young elephant named Ella who with the aid of her magic hat to overcomes challenges and find solutions.
