Global Tissue Group strikes deal with the U.S. Army

Private label paper manufacturer Global Tissue Group has signed a licensing agreement with the U.S. Army.

The deal will see the U.S. Army brand grace a range of Global Tissue Group’s products including paper towels, napkins and tissues.

"Our alliance with the U.S. Army was just what we were looking for all along," said Global Tissue Group CMO Philip Shaoul.

"The brand fits perfectly with the durable and lasting qualities of our products and also stands for the ‘there when you need it to be’ quality found both in our products and in our troops."

The products will be available from drug stores, supermarkets, club stores and discount retailers across the country.

"What we’re really excited about is that the sales of this product will benefit the Morale, Welfare and Recreation program for all soldiers, veterans and their families. It’s good to give back to a worthy program,” added Shaoul.
