Golden Bear has been appointed the master toy licensee for new pre-school property, Henry Hugglemonster by the Walt Disney Company.
The family series – based on the award winning children’s book I’m a Happy Hugglewug, by Niamh Sharkey – premiered on Disney Junior in February 2013.
Golden Bear is now developing a range of soft toys, play-sets and accessories featuring the show’s popular characters, scheduled to hit the market in spring 2014.
Already the series has been viewed by a quarter of all kids aged four to nine in the UK, while the Henry Hugglemonster microsite is averaging 117,000 monthly unique visitors over a quarterly average.
Featuring guest voiceovers including Geri Halliwell, Brenda Bleythyn and Brian Blessed, the show follows the adventures of five year old Henry Hugglemonster and his family of monsters.
