Popular reality television entertainment show Got To Dance has reached tape sales covering 120 territories.
New deals for the UK programme featuring The Pussycat Dolls’ Kimberly Wyatt and Diversity’s Ashley Banjo include broadcasting in Canada and Africa.
Sky1 HD’s highest rated entertainment series is now in pre-production for a fifth series.
The latest tape deals follow previous acquisitions from broadcasters including BBC (Latin America), SBS (Netherlands) and Fox International Channel across Asia.
As one of the show’s judges, Banjo is heading to MIPTV to launch a new factual entertainment format, Big Town Dance.
The show will see Banjo and Diversity strive to inspire an entire town to come together for a street performance.
Banjo’s solo project, Secret Street Crew, has now reached over 60 territories, including Italy, Africa, Denmark and Norway.
Nadine Nohr, CEO Shine International, said: “The success of Got To Dance and Secret Street Crew internationally is a testament to these high quality entertainment shows, and we are delighted to be hosting Ashley to launch Big Town Dance at this year’s MIPTV.
“Big Town Dance is a show with real heart, and what each of these shows have is real universal appeal, captivating audiences with compelling stories and wonderful community spirit. It’s entertainment TV at its best.”
Banjo added: “I am proud to be part of all these fantastic entertainment shows and can’t wait to be at MIPTV this year.”
